Some sun and fun with the Rotary Club

KEARNY - Got a good line-up for y'all next week (sorry - spent six years down the Louisiana Bayou.) The latest on the fire/homicide in Harrison, Corzine's visit to Franklin school on SDA funding, graduation bits, the first black woman to go to the North Pole (she spoke at the Kearny Optimist Club), cool kid stuff at the library and as many press releases and pix from good people and things around town. Oh yeah, and a new spin on the grip and grin type of photo of Sheriff Juan Perea and the tri-town mayors at West Hudson Park taken by our loyal photographer, Dianne Tilley.
After doing a bit of journalism in the a.m. this great Friday morning, I'm off to Point Pleasant to fish the lovely Atlantic Ocean curtesy our bubbling and beautiful publisher Lisa Pezzolla and her cohorts at the Kearny Rotary Club.
BTB, we also have a new talented and enthusiastic youngun' from Kearny, Felipe Rodriguez, who is being a great help to me with his fully equipped camera and keen sense of composition.
Thanks for reading and being patient with the change over in these tough economic times.

Yours truly,

The Editor
