The Permit Extension Act, if passed, will seriously jeopardize pubic health, the character of our communities, and the natural resources upon which we depend. Preserving a high quality of life requires that we make responsible and informed decisions regarding development, and this bill would prevent that logic from being applied to past and future development projects. I strongly urge you to consider the implications of this bill and amend it to provide the protections that our communities deserve. Don’t allow developers to benefit at the communities' expense.
