Harrison Night Out

HARRISON – On Tuesday August 5 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., the Town of Harrison will be conducting an event recognizing National Night Out. Mayor Raymond McDonough, the Harrison Town Council, the Harrison Police Department and the Harrison-East Newark Elks sponsor the event. The festivities will take place in Roosevelt Park in front of the Harrison Public Library. Participants include the Harrison Police and Fire Departments, Hudson County Sheriffs Department, and the Port Authority of NY/NJ Police Department.
There will be crime prevention, drug awareness and general police information distributed, as well as food, games and giveaways for the children. Please put your porch light on and come out and join other members of the community for this event.
