KEARNY – A three-alarm fire started on the fourth floor of the Grant apartments around 12:30 p.m. today on the corner of Grant and Johnston Avenue.
Kearny, Harrison and North Arlington Fire Departments responded with Jersey City and East Newark on call to protect the town.
Two civilians who lived in the building and Kearny Firefighter Doug Tilley were injured. More to come in next week's addition of The Observer.
