Bailout plan gaining supporters

WASHINGTON- Those in the House of Representatives who voted "no" are reconsidering a "yes" vote on the reconfigured Wall Street rescue plan that is supposedly made into an Economic rescue plan. The vote is about to come up in the House for a second time. Two of the "sweeteners," as reports are calling them, includes the Senate's addition of a $100 billion in tax breaks and increased mental health insurance coverage.
Or maybe it's just the major stock market plunge that has everyone running scared.
If passed, the legislation will allow billions of dollars to be spent on "bad mortagage-related securities" and the significantly devalued assest of financial institutions. What could result from the plan being quashed is that small businesses and other bank loans will become extremely limited for the average worker. But then again, over loans to those who extended themselves is part of the financial bind as well as the Wall Street wildly unsuccessful shenanigans.
With the bailout would come the same inflated prices on homes, keeping much of the population unable to get one in the first place.
Some reports say that many of the "no" representative were offered appeasements on their pet bills. It is also said that the new plan will eliminate "the alternative minimum tax for the middle class."
On the outside, investors like the much-watched Warren Buffet, JP Morgan Chase and others are reported to have taken on some of those floundering banks and their bad-news mortgages without the government lifting a finger.
Our economy is not dead yet and neither is this monstrously large bailout.
Seems they have us coming and going. That's enough to many anyone crazy. I guess if you have health insurance you'll gets some aid there.
If you're against the bailout you can check out this Web site and weigh in with other like-minded individuals. http://stopthehousingbailout.com/ Even if you are for the bailout this Web site has some very interesting analysis of the bailouts consequences.
