Tools for single mothers

OVER 100 SINGLE MOMS FROM TRI-STATE WILL BE EQUIPPED WITH TOOLS AND EMPOWERED TO DEAL WITH THESE ECONOMICALLY CHALLENGING TIMES

WHO: Over 100 Single Moms from New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania will attend Project Single Moms Unity Night 2008, an afternoon into evening empowerment event offering educational sessions and tools to help single moms succeed through these economically challenging times. Workshops on getting your money and credit straight; preparing for homeowneship; starting and growing a business; setting goals and creating vision boards will be presented by Magyar Bank, Primerica, Women's Venture Fund and My Daughter's Keeper, Inc.

WHEN: Saturday, October 18 from 12 noon to 12 midnight

WHERE: Society Hill North Community Complex, 1 Society Way, North Brunswick, New Jersey

WHAT: Empowerment Sessions, business showcases, belly dance class, massages, a family style dinner and comedy and show are planned for single moms.
