Lymphoma Fundraiser at Cosmo's Pub

HARRISON – Team Jackie Mac is 16-team members strong and the team is currently ranked in first place among all teams registered to walk with almost $5000 raised so far. The team goal is to raise $10,000 before the walk date of May 3. The team is named after Jackie Nankivell, a life long resident of Harrison who has survived serious bouts with cancer, as you will read about in the coming weeks of The Observer. The team is part of her daughter, Dawn Nankivell's, quest to bring awareness and funds to the New Jersey Chapter of the Lymphoma Research Foundation of which she is a member.
They are holding a Pub Night at Cosmo’s Pub in Harrison this Friday night, April 17 from 8pm to 10:30pm. The cover charge will be $10 and will include food and music by DJ Ravo. All proceeds from the door will go directly to the Lymphoma Research Foundation on behalf of Team Jackie Mac.
The walk will take place on Sunday, May 3 in Mercer County Park West Picnic Area in West Windsor. Step off time is 10 a.m.
