KEARNY – The fire on Sunday June 7 at Marvel Decorators at 405 Kearny Ave. on the corner of Grove Street though damaged in the front, the bulk of the fire was confined to the back of the building on the first floor. A Kearny firefighter, Bill Solano, passing by on his bicycle saw the smoke. By the time the fire department arrived on the scene the entire street was filled with smoke at zero visibility.
