St. Dominic Academy’s Leadership Awards Dinner

Carol Higgins Clark to be honorary guest

JERSEY CITY -Carol Higgins Clark, award winning author of twelve best-selling Regan Reilly mysteries such as Decked, Iced, Snagged and most recently Cursed, is the honorary guest at Saint Dominic Academy’s Leadership Awards Dinner on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Puccini’s Restaurant in Jersey City.
Ms. Clark, daughter of America’s #1 best-selling suspense writer, Mary Higgins Clark, will pay tribute to the Academy’s Mothers’ Club and all Alumnae Mothers for their years of dedication and service to the all-girls, private high school and will, no doubt, give homage to her own famous mother.
“Involved mothers have played a large role in the Saint Dominic Academy community and we are thrilled to have Carol Higgins Clark as our guest,” Petrina Watkins, the current president of the SDA Mothers’ Club, said. “I’m sure Carol’s mother took great interest in all her children’s affairs while raising them. Mary and Carol must have a very special mother/daughter relationship to have co-authored five books together.”
The annual dinner includes an open bar from 6-7 p.m. and will feature the Academy’s awarding winning glee club, “The Dominoes,” as entertainment. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Academy’s Scholarship Fund which supports the school’s offering of approximately $300,000 in both financial aid and academic scholarship each year. More information can be obtained by calling the SDA Advancement office at 201 434 5938 ext. 33 or by emailing advancement@stdominicacad.com.
