Clara Maas Food event

BELLEVILLE — Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation is bringing back its popular A Tasteful Experience on Nov. 10, for a fourth year. Billed as “an evening of sensational food and wine,” the event will be held at Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange and benefit Clara Maass Medical Center. Last year, 30 of the area’s finest restaurants, caterers and purveyors of spirits donated their time, talent and wares to raise funds for the hospital’s programs and services.
Remarkable for the scope and diversity of its offerings, A Tasteful Experience, has allowed guests to sample foods ranging from classical French and Italian to Mexican, Japanese, modern American and even barbeque. And, notes Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation vice president, Jane Newman Kessler, CFRE, “In 2007, vendors offered tastes of more than 200 different wines!”
Foodies and wine aficionados can attend the Main Event, beginning at 7 p.m., for $90. A $150 ticket will allow participants to also enjoy the VIP Experience, a pre-event hour starting at 6 p.m. and featuring a special guest and luxury swag bag.
