LPD Community Policing Newsletter

LYNDHURST - The Lyndhurst Police Department is pleased to announce that the latest edition of the Community Policing Newsletter is now available. The newsletter is designed to keep Lyndhurst Residents up to date with the latest news and information affecting our community. “The newsletter enables us to reach out to our residents, and let them know what we are doing to help them and the community.” Lyndhurst Public Safety Commissioner Robert Giangeruso said. “Hopefully, it will provide a reassurance to residents and work towards improving their quality of life.”
The newsletter will also help keep everyone abreast of recent crime trends, feature timely crime prevention tips and techniques, and profile many of the programs and services offered by the Lyndhurst Police Department. Chief James O’Connor commented on the newsletter, “The police department is committed to providing optimal service to those we serve, and the newsletter is an excellent application to keep everyone updated as to the things happening on their doorstep. Often the fear of crime is greater than the actual crime occurring, and this newsletter will help to address any issues experienced within our neighborhoods.”
The newsletter can be viewed online at LyndhurstPolice.com or at LyndhurstNJ.org. To receive a free e-mail subscription to the newsletter, simply forward your e-mail address to CommunityPolicing@LyndhurstPolice.com. For those of you, who may not have e-mail or internet access, feel free to contact our Community Policing Unit at 201- 939-9101, and we will arrange to have a copy of the newsletter delivered to you.
