NORTH ARLINGTON – Every first Friday of the month, the students of Queen of Peace Elementary School bring in food for the Queen of Peace Church Food Pantry as they go to their first Friday mass. Each grade is assigned either cans, pasta or paper products to bring to the food pantry. The class who brings in the most products will be treated to a "Tag Day" at the end of the year. Principal, Miss Terri Suchocki said, the children very enthusiastic about helping others and are happy to bring in the food. Queen of Peace Church's Food Pantry always can use more donations to help the people in need.
