North Arlington police blotter

NORTH ARLINGTON – A suspect for a Sept. 9, 2008 burglary in the 100 Block of Bogel Avenue was apprehended by the North Arlington Police Department on March 5.
Sgt. Det. arrested Liborio Gamonal, 28, of Elizabeth. Brian Hearns, Det. Joseph Prinzo and Det. James Gangi. The Bergen County Bureau of Criminal Investigations assisted.
During the burglary, jewelry, an iPod, several cameras, a purse containing cash and a safe containing $2000 were stolen. The property has not been recovered. Bail was set at $15,000, with a 10 percent option.
Officer Joseph Rinvivillo arrested James Bentivengna, 30, of North Arlington, on March 7 in the 100 Block of Riverview Avenue. The suspect was found sitting behind the wheel of a substantially damaged car with the motor was running. Due to his condition, Bentivengna was transferred to a local hospital and charged with driving while intoxicated and careless driving.
Det. Joseph Prinzo arrested Johanna Georgallis, 27, of Cranford, following an investigation begun August 5, 2008 to obtain a controlled and dangerous substance in the vicinity of the CVS on Schuyler Ave.
